Services & Engineering

We deliver the operation, not just the equipment.

A chlorine generator sitting idle in the plant room does not treat water. That is why, at H2O, chlorine generator installation starts before the purchase — with sizing — and only ends when your team is operating the system with the documentation in hand. The work is carried out by our own factory team, not subcontractors. As a result, design, installation and support all answer to a single point of responsibility.

What usually goes wrong

The equipment is rarely the problem.

First of all: in practice, chlorination projects stall for predictable reasons — an undersized generator that cannot keep up with peak demand, an electrical connection that did not exist, a team that was never trained and operates by trial and error, or an audit asking for a document nobody issued. In short, all of these are problems of scope, not of the machine — and that is exactly where engineering comes into chlorine generator installation.

Sized by volume alone

When the calculation only looks at reservoir volume, and not chlorine demand per hour, the generator meets the average. As a result, chlorine runs short exactly at the peak.

Site not prepared

Uneven floor, no dedicated breaker, no water connection in the right place. The team travels out and comes back without installing.

Untrained team

Without guidance on use and maintenance, dosing becomes guesswork. In addition, cell wear accelerates.

Missing documentation

When the audit or public tender comes, the ART, test report or warranty certificate is missing. The process stalls until someone issues the document.

Engineering scope

Six fronts of chlorine generator installation, one single point of responsibility.

From the first calculation to preventive maintenance, everything goes through the same team. There is no gap where the manufacturer says it is the installer's job and the installer says it is the manufacturer's. And the scope is the same for any application: water utilities and public water supply, industry, large pools and clubs or residential pools.

Technical sizing

Chlorine demand calculated in kg/day or g/h from flow rate, consumption and operating hours. The Sanitation line covers 1 to 150 kg/day. So the model comes from the calculation, not from guesswork. Size your system.

Design and scope of supply

Sketch, detailed scope and supply list tailored to the reality of the WTP, WWTP, industrial plant or water park. No generic scopes.

Installation and commissioning

Electrical and hydraulic connection, chlorine generation test, leak check and initial dosing calibration, with a 10-item checklist. At the end, the technician and the customer sign the completion certificate.

Training

Operator training at the close of installation and installer training for the Sanitation line. Support materials stay with your team.

Technical support

Diagnostics, maintenance and spare parts by our own factory team, so treatment never stops. The support channel is provided at project close-out. See technical support.

Documentation and ART

Issuance of ART (Brazilian technical responsibility record) when required, warranty certificate, signed installation certificate and qualification documents for public tenders. Auditors find everything in one place.

How the project runs

The 6 stages, and what is recorded at each one.

Here is how the work runs behind the scenes. Every Sanitation project runs on an after-sales management sheet. Each stage has an owner, a date and a signature — and you know where your order stands without having to ask.

01

Order and technical data

Model, serial number, accessories and delivery address. First, an owner is assigned and signs the opening of the sheet.

02

Delivery tracking

Carrier, tracking code, estimated and actual date. On arrival, the packaging condition and the person who received it are recorded.

03

Site inspection and acceptance

Before installation, a technician checks the site against a 7-point checklist, with someone from your side present.

04

Scheduling

Date and time agreed after site acceptance — not before. Nobody sends a team out only to discover an obstacle on the day.

05

Installation and start-up

10-item technical checklist, photo record, confirmed chlorine generation and calibrated dosing. Right after, the technician and the customer sign off.

06

Project close-out

Finally, warranty certificate issued, documentation delivered, support channel provided and satisfaction survey recorded.

Stage 3 · Site acceptance

The visit that prevents a wasted trip.

This is without doubt the stage that saves the most time on both sides. Before any scheduling, a technician visits the site and checks seven conditions. Chlorine generator installation is only booked once the site passes this screening. If something is missing, you receive a list of what needs to be arranged — in advance, not with the installation team waiting in the yard.

Technical qualification

The documentation auditors ask for.

Utilities, public agencies and public tenders ask for paperwork, not just working equipment. That is why our technical and tax qualification documents are ready to send, and our engineers issue whatever the project requires.

CREA registration

Company registered with the Brazilian engineering council (CREA), with a technical lead and a valid registration certificate.

ART per installation

Technical Responsibility Record (ART) issued for projects that require registration.

Technical Collection Certificate (CAT)

CAT issued by CREA, certifying the portfolio of completed projects.

Operating license

Valid factory operating license, through 2031.

Laboratory reports

Tests at an accredited external laboratory, for compliance reports.

Technical capability certificates

Issued by municipal agencies, utilities, rural sanitation systems, water parks and industries.

Questions about services and engineering.

Scope and execution

Does H2O install the chlorine generator or only sell the equipment?
H2O handles installation with its own factory team. The standard scope runs from technical sizing to project close-out, and includes site acceptance inspection, electrical and hydraulic installation, chlorine generation testing, initial dosing calibration and training for the person in charge on site. At the end, the customer signs the installation certificate and receives the full documentation.
How is the chlorine generator sized?
Sizing starts from chlorine demand, not just water volume. The calculation includes flow rate in m³/h, estimated daily consumption in kg/day or g/h, operating hours and the applicable standard, such as Brazilian standard NBR 12216 for water treatment plants. The step-by-step sizing guide is available on our blog. Based on this data, our engineers recommend the model and the scope of supply.
What does H2O check before installing?
Before installation there is a site acceptance inspection, recorded on a signed sheet. It checks the physical space, floor levelness and strength, water inlet and outlet points, available pressure and flow, the electrical connection with voltage and amperage as per the manual, the presence of a dedicated breaker and room ventilation. No team travels only to discover an obstacle on installation day.

Warranty, training and documentation

What is the chlorine generator warranty?
The warranty is 1 year, made up of 90 days of statutory warranty plus 9 months of additional warranty. It covers component failure and premature wear under normal conditions of use, and does not cover damage due to misuse. For on-site service, the technician's travel, meals and accommodation may be charged.
Does H2O train the team that will operate the chlorine generator?
Yes. There is training for operators and also for Sanitation line installers. In addition to hands-on training at the close of installation, the customer receives the user manual, the preventive maintenance guide and technical support contacts, all listed in the project close-out document.
Does H2O issue an ART for the installation?
Yes. H2O is registered with CREA, with a technical lead, and issues Technical Responsibility Records (ART) for installations that require them. It also holds a Technical Collection Certificate and an operating license — documents commonly requested in public tenders and utility audits.
Do you work with public tenders and water utilities?
Yes. H2O has supplied municipal agencies, utilities, integrated rural sanitation systems, water parks and industries, and holds technical capability certificates issued by these clients. Technical and tax qualification documents are ready to send for public tenders.

Send us your system data. Our engineers will reply with numbers.

Flow rate, volume and operating hours are enough for an initial chlorine generator sizing. You then receive the recommended model and scope of supply in writing.
